This is such a refreshing drink to make on a warm Summer day and with a little prep is easy to make at home.

Gently give the flowers a wash to remove any dirt.

Wash the lemon and oranges as well and slice them up!

Put all the ingredients into a large glass jar or bowl. Stir well and leave it covered outside (preferably in the sun for 3 days… Three sunny days in Ireland can be a rare occurrence!)

Check the weather forcast and only make it when you have enough sunshine

Give it a good stir a couple of times every day making sure that the sugar dilutes.

Pour them into glass bottles and keep them in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

Serve cordial with cold sparkling or still water and some fresh lemon juice. Use as much cordial as you like!
