  • Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter or Knife

  • Baking Sheet

  • Parchment Paper

  • Fork

  • Spatula or Butter Knife

  • Microwave

  • Small Tongs or Fork

  • Optional: A pizza cutter for slicing

Ingredients

  • For the Sweet Dough:

  • 7g active dry yeast (1 packet)

  • 180ml warm milk

  • 100g Gem Easy Pour Caster Sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 280g Gem Plain Flour (plus extra for dusting)

  • For the Toppings:

  • 100g Gem Milk Chocolate Chips, melted

  • 100g Gem White Chocolate Chips, melted

  • 150g chocolate or caramel spread

  • 12 fresh strawberries

  • Mini marshmallows and Gem White Chocolate Chips for garnish

Instructions

1

Step 1: Prep the Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries

Melt the chocolate chips and dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate. Place them on parchment paper and set aside to cool.
2

Step 2: Make the Sweet Dough

In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk with GEM Caster Sugar.
Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg and oil.
Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes by hand
3

Step 3: Shape the Dough

Preheat your oven to 200°C (fan) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large circle, about 5mm thick.
Using a knife or heart-shaped stencil, cut out a large heart shape (use the scraps to make mini hearts!).
Transfer the heart-shaped dough onto the baking sheet and poke a few small holes in the center with a fork to prevent puffing.
4

Step 4: Bake the Dough

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
5

Step 5: Add the Toppings

Spread the chocolate or caramel spread evenly over the slightly warm heart-shaped crust.
Decorate with the chocolate-dipped strawberries, mini marshmallows, and extra white chocolate chips for decoration.
6

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!

Slice and serve your Sweet Heart Pizza immediately! 🍕❤️ Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 day.
